2022 Year in Review, half a decade in the making

Let’s recap 😊

2018
2019
2020
2021

The majority of new businesses last less than 5 years. Thanks to our customers, hard work, smart planning, and a killer staff we beat those odds. 2022 brings to a close our 5th full year of being in business and we want to thank each and every single one of our fans and customers for your support along the way.

The 11th gen Civic took center stage this year as we dove in head first on lots of goodies for our 2022 Civic Si. We launched a full turbo back exhaust system, Big Brake Kit, and are working on an intercooler upgrade, turbo inlet pipe upgrade, turbocharger upgrade, and more. Not only are we heavy on the R&D for this car but we also raced it a lot. We entered several Honda Time Attack Challenge events and had a great time showcasing this car and our parts. In short, the car drives and performs extremely well.

This year we also saw the return of the famous Acura Integra which allowed us to dip our toes into Honda’s luxury side and develop new parts for the DE4. As before, the Integra shares the foundation with the 11th gen Honda Civic so we have an already stacked catalog of parts for the new 5-door lift-back. To even further cement our intention with Acura, we just took delivery of our 2023 Integra A-Spec a few weeks ago. It’s going to look so sick in some 27WON livery.

The Integra wasn’t the only cool piece of machinery we purchased this year. The team has also invested even deeper into our turbocharger technology with the addition of a new turbo balancing machine. Long story short, it’s a piece of specialized equipment that allows us to build better and stronger turbochargers for the aftermarket.

We filled up our warehouse at HQ and expanded to a second location. You may notice much fewer out off stocks than we had a year ago. We’ve been working hard on this. Inventory is at an all-time high.

Even after a few years of COVID-19 we still live in this odd space. Materials and supplies are still hard to procure at times. Costs are also up across the board. Everything from metal to rubber to plastic to shipping and more has seen big price hikes. We do our best to keep costs in control for you guys. I mean, have you seen the markup on the FL5? It’s $20,000 on average with one dealer in Texas adding a $50,000 markup. I mean we love the car but sheesh, get out of here with that nonsense!!!

Despite this new expensive world we live in, we still manage to grow. So much so that we are currently trying to fill several positions within our team. Check out the open positions we are currently hiring for and see if there is a spot where you can start a new career you’ll love. Find a career where you’ll love to go to work each and every day and in sunny Las Vegas no less.

2023 is looking to be our busiest product development year so far. We plan to get the 11th gen Type R and Integra Type S later in the year and we are already very busy with many products for the 11th Gen Civic. We also have products in the pipeline for the 10th Generation cars. So needless to say, you can expect to see a lot of cool parts from 27WON in the coming year.

With half a decade under our belts, we are just getting started. So buckle up and see what’s next.
