And We Thought 2020 Was Intense, 2021 In The Rearview

Before I wrote this yearly summary, I re-read my last three (2018, 2019, 2020). I noted in my 2020 recap that it was the most intense year ever as it was for many of you as well. I was hoping that 2021 would be more “normal” once we got past the COVID stuff. Well, needless to say there is a new “normal”. Lol. 

2021 was another big year for 27WON. We launched the journal bearing W2 turbocharger upgrade at the beginning of the year. This bigger and badder brother of the W1 for enthusiasts who want more out of the L15 platform. We ended the year by releasing the Ball Bearing version of the W2. 2021 - Year of the Turbo?

Honda released the 11th generation Honda Civic. We picked up a 2022 EX in the summer and immediately started product development for this new generation. Right at the end of the year we took delivery of our 2022 Civic Si. Did you see that? Check out how @hondaprojason got that car to us right here by driving across the country!

Just like for the 10th gens, we’ll continue to REDEFINE Honda Performance. We learned so much from the 2016-2021 model years that we are already applying to the 11th generation. Our parts will be better, stronger, and faster. Our product line-up for the 2022+ models is going to pack some serious heat so be on the lookout for that. 

We also continued to invest in our team, equipment, and building. We acquired a bunch of new equipment like a brand new 3D scanner, a CNC mill, and various additional testing equipment to develop top-notch parts. We pumped a lot into our HQ. We want your visit to be an experience, a destination for you. Drive your car into our showroom and check out the new flooring, signage, walls, and a sick-ass mural . 

We launched our international dealer program. While we have always shipped worldwide, we understand how expensive and difficult it can be to purchase overseas. To make it easier we partnered up with three exclusive international dealers. We will continue to add international dealers in 2022 to make our parts more accessible.

2022 is going to be a big year as we will see the 11th gen Type R and the return of the Acura Integra. We are eager to add these two cars to our line-up! We will continue to grow our team. Who knows, maybe you can be a part of our team. We are always on the search for super-talented individuals. There are no signs of slowing down and we can’t wait to show you what's next.
