What’s the lowdown on the FL5/DE5/FK8 application?
We’re happy to report we’ve stuck to the same basic principles in design and construction to make it a solid addition to your build over the OEM setup.
We ditched the OE style interior rubber diaphragm that notoriously rips over time for a more durable metal piston. We kept our 27WON BPV fully recirculating as well so that your fuel trims remain consistent. Don’t fall for other blow-off valve types that may sound cool, but throw off your fuel trims.
27WON 2.0T Bypass Valve Side Profile
Our valve body is made from aluminum for both strength and better aesthetics compared to OEM. Yes, our valve performs under pressure, but what about looking good doing it? It does it too! Just check out the Red & Black elements and the subtle knurled finish. As far as install goes, you’ll get all new fresh hardware to get this piece in the first time. 3 bolts attach this BPV in the factory location.
