Whiteline Performance Teams up with 27WON on 11th Gen Project

When a new model/chassis of Civic comes out one of the first things an aftermarket performance parts company does is check to see if any of the parts they already have on the market will bolt right on without modification. In terms of suspension and chassis upgrades for the 2022+ model Civic, it was assumed that nearly everything underneath was the same from the 10th gen.

So, our friends at Whiteline reached out to partner with us again to confirm this.

Joel, at Whiteline was kind enough to send over their entire catalog of 10th gen parts to see what exactly would fit on the 11th gen. The team sent over a full sway bar kit which includes front and rear bars, end links, and bushings. We also got set up with some rear toe arms, lowering springs, rear camber arms and their very nice anti-lift-kit (ALK). Their ALK is one of the coolest things they make and helps keep the car from diving too aggressively under hard braking and other traction forces.

It's a part we love on our 10th gen and couldn’t wait to get fitted under our 2022 Civic EX and Si.

To confirm these installs. we started with the simple stuff and worked up to the more complex ones. Up first was the rear sway bar kit. It fits like a glove on the hardest setting and is easily the best bang-for-buck rear suspension mod you can make on your 11th gen Civic. Our 2022 Si rear end turns in so much more and it felt like a whole new car once it was in. This is my personal favorite mod of the bunch. A small tweak needed to be made to the softer setting on the bar so we communicated that to the team and they are hard at work on an update.

Next, we added in their rear toe arms for some quick suspension adjustments. The adjustable toe arms replace your OEM non-adjustable ones and allow us to dial in the rear toe. This is a big plus when you make the switch to coilovers and you want to start dialing in the rear for some extra turn-in on very technical tracks or if you wish to make sure everything keeps to OEM specs so that the car is more predictable.

This install was very easy.

After the rear bar and rear toe arms, we tackled the lowering springs and rear camber arms. The lowering springs fit 100% like the 10th gen and needed no changes at all. You can literally go buy those springs right now and give a clean drop to your 2022 Hatch or Sedan. The rear camber arms needed some shaving of the rear compliance bushings to fit, but besides that went in without hassle.

We are about halfway in with the installs and still need to get the front sway and anti-lift-kit (ALK) in the car, but feel pretty confident that they will all fit just like on the outgoing model.

We are already impressed with the modifications we have done so far. Paired up with our Front Strut Tower Bar this car is really starting to feel like it's on rails.

We know there is still tons of room for improvement in the suspension system and are looking forward to seeing what else the team at Whiteline brings out for the next-gen.

Be sure and give Whiteline a follow on their IG page and stay tuned to their website as they release items to the patiently waiting 11th gen crowd!
