27WON Announces Official Time Trial Entry for 2019 Season

With race season underway 27WON is excited to share some great news. This week the team officially announces its campaign in the SCCA Time Trials for the 2019 season. Starting with our first official competition event of the year at Portland International Raceway this Saturday, the team will be aiming to compete in the Tuner 4 category in our 2018 Honda Civic SI.

Our 2nd home at the track

We have always used the track to validate our parts for both on and off the street. We are ready to take that development and testing to the next level by entering into some competitive events.

SCCA and NATA are the way to do it.

Time Trials has a series of classes and categories for competition. It is the perfect environment in the quest for speed. As SCCA states it

This is a place for mechanical creativity, driver development and envelope pushing.

To us this is an environment to REDEFINE the Aftermarket! Without all the rules of ‘spec’ racing we have the freedom to push the boundaries hard during product development and bring the 10th gen community a fresh new perspective on performance. We’ll showcase that not only do our parts look great and perform well but that they help you win too.

The 2019 season will function as a “test” season of sorts. We will be base-lining the car and honing in our driving fundamentals. We will maximize the parts on the car and lay the groundwork for a more competitive next year. We will then be able to make a ton of adjustments in the off-season with the intent of bringing a really fast car in for 2020.

The 27WON team is really excited about the venture and are even more excited to see where it goes from here. As always, we hope you will come along on the journey. Be sure to drop a comment and let us know what you want to see. What kind of information would the community like us to share in regards to time trials, road racing, and more?

See you on track!
