10th Gen Civic Roadmap (a Look Ahead)

With the release of the new 11th generation Honda Civic , we’ve gotten questions from the 10th generation crowd wondering if we are going to stop making parts for the 2016-2021 models to focus on the new 2022+ Civic? The answer to that is a hard no. Even though the new FE1 chassis is out and we will be making great performance parts for that car, we don’t have any intentions to stop or slow down development for the 10th generation models.

There is so much we want to do with the CivicX platform that we can’t possibly fit it all in one blog. But today we are going to share with you some of what’s in the works and what to look forward to in the future.

W2 Ball Bearing Turbo

The team is in the final beta phase of testing our W2 Ball Bearing Turbo. This unit is identical to our current W2 journal bearing unit, but with a more robust and enhanced center cartridge. As the name implies, we changed it up from a JB system to a BB system which helps give a quicker spool and more importantly makes a more durable unit that can handle more boost!

CTR Downpipe

For the FK8, we are rounding out our Cat-back exhaust system by allowing you to get the full turbo-back exhaust system with the addition of our upcoming high-performance catted downpipe. This will be a 100% direct bolt-on to both our Catback system, the stock system, and most other aftermarket systems. It will feature a 200 cell race catalytic converter and provisions to retain the OEM heat shield. With stainless steel castings and our bell mouth opening, this downpipe will be sure to make lots of power on your FK8.

Catback Exhaust for EX, LX Trims

For those 10th gen owners with neither a Hatchback Sport, Civic SI nor Type R, we are expanding our exhaust catalog to several new 10th gen models. Honda did not make it easy for us! Whether you got a coupe, sedan, or hatchback and in various trims, you have a different rear bumper and trunk bed. Because of this several styles of axle-back exhaust sections need to be created. We aim to bring a few more fitments for those looking to up the style and sound from their 10th gen.

The 27WON team is super busy cranking out awesome stuff for the Honda community. It feels like we have a million things we are trying to accomplish and forward progress on the 10th gen is one of them. Look for updates via our newsletter and blogs with these and other upcoming projects for the 10th gen community. And there are a few big ones we did not mention yet! So be sure and give us a follow and see what’s next.
